Angel Christmas Tree Party
2017 Angel Tree Christmas Party
The 2016 Angel Tree Christmas Party, held at First Baptist Simpsonville was a great success. We served over one-hundred children and their families. It was a wonderful time of food, fellowship, community, outreach, and opportunity to share the love and grace of Jesus Christ with the children and families with incarcerated parents. This year, our goal is to serve 150 children for Christmas and we want you to join us. Come be a part of this heartwarming and powerful ministry.
will be held November 18, 2017 in the MPAC Building 2:30-4:00pm. Snacks will be served. This is a service and fellowship opportunity the whole family can share together.
Saturday December 9, 2017 4:00-6:30pm (volunteers can arrive as early as 9:00am)
FBS, North Auditorium, (first floor of the new building between Church St. and Hedge St.)
Because you have something to offer, they have a need for someone to show them the love of Jesus, and He compels us to join Him by living and giving to something larger and outside ourselves.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
(1) volunteers to serve food, decorate, host tables, hand out gifts, meet and
greet families, play games with the children, and love on the care givers;
(2) financial sponsorship- individuals, families, Sunday School classes, can
sponsor one or more children. The cost is roughly $100 per child;
(3) Shoppers to go purchase gifts for the children—we can provide the funding.
(4) Prayer that the Lord would use this outreach opportunity to build His
Kingdom in the hearts and lives of these precious people.
The deadline for gifts to be turned in is Saturday November 18th.
For more information please contact John Tinsley at (864) 979-9797 or [email protected].
Come and enjoy the snacks and fellowship while we love and serve our community.
