A mission partnership of First Baptist Simpsonville, our Happy Trails Cowboy Church was created to meet the needs of a very large community associated with the Equine (horse) industry. You don't have to be a horse owner or even a cowboy. Happy Trails Church is open to all who wish to attend. You'll find relevant Bible-based teaching in a casual (with a hint of western wear) atmosphere along with a variety of worship music. Dress comfortably and we hope to see you soon!
From the Beginning
Several horse people in the area have often invited friends to attend church with them. Some said they were involved in showing their horses or trail riding on the weekend. Others said they did not want to "dress up." So a group began to meet and pray about how to help their friends overcome these barriers, and came up with the idea of a "come as you are" (blue jeans, etc.) church service, held on Sunday nights at 6pm and Tuesday nights at 7:00pm (leaves time to feed up after getting off work).
What to Expect
Obviously our name says alot about what to expect. But the thing that matters most is we unite to worship, learn, and fellowship in Jesus. We want everyone to know Jesus and to learn what it means to follow Him, and honor Him in everything we do.
